16U BOYS AAU BASKETBALL RANKINGS - UPPER MIDWEST REGION BY STATE

Here's the Upper Midwest states, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas and my own state of Missouri.  You will see more teams in these rankings because my grandson's Larry Hughes team played more common opponents in this region and I compared more teams to each other in this region.  There are some great teams in Illinois (Mac Irvin, Wolves, Jets Orange, Y&R), Nebraska (Team Factory), Kansas and Missouri (Pray & Play, Mokan, Beal, Run GMC, Yanders Law, LHBA) and the region is becoming a recruiting hotbed for some of the top D1 schools.  Even states like Minnesota and Wisconsin, known more for hockey and skiing sports, are becoming recruiting networks for the Duke's and North Carolina's of the big-time basketball world.  Who'd of every thought of a cheesehead playing as a Tarheel?  It might just happen again (remember Joe Wolf?).
