Prep Hoops Bash in the Desert 16U Teams May 3-5th Gilbert AZ

Go West Young Man.  That was the advice 150 years ago.  They were looking for gold.   A quick fortune.  I am looking for good 16U teams to rank.  It might seem like old news but each of these tournaments gives me more ammo to build a good national rankings.

I decided it was time to get back to Prep Hoops events out in Arizona last night to catch up on some of the southwest and west coast teams that are doing well in the Prep Hoops circuit.  Coastal Elite Slayers had been the top dog this spring but they hit a speed bump in the Bash in the Desert and Seattle Select High Academic had high marks in this tournament.  Powerhouse Hoops Black, who was in the top 100 last year in my rankings lost their opening game but came back to win the consolation round.  Other than those two teams and Inspire 16U, there wasn't much to write home about in this tournament.  The top ten teams were about average for a good tournament and the overall field was slightly below average for ratings.  But these tournaments are good proving grounds for teams that want to get their groove for July.
