How good is Team Harden 16U? Adidas Gauntlet Dallas 16U ratings

So the next question was, how good were the teams in the Adidas Gauntlet 16U tournament in Dallas over the Memorial Day May 24-26th weekend.  Team Harden took that fray, easily handling Kansas Pray and Play by 17 in the semi-final and pushing past PB Nation 16U GS Gold in the final by 7.  Pray and Play must of had a bad game because they beat up on everyone else.  I didn't rate PB Nation as highly as Pray and Play based on their other games.

The tournament as a whole was a little disappointing in depth and the size of the field.

Looks like Harden will compete well in July.

JULY 14U/8th Grade USA Rankings

I have updated my 14U/8th grade rankings prior to some big tournaments coming up.  The top 25 are all rock solid teams and any one of them could win any of the upcoming tournaments.  I am not going to differentiate the 14U and 8th grade ratings because that would take a whole lot of work to investigate all of the teams that might have 15 or 16 year olds playing on an 8th grade team because they have been held back for academic or other reasons. The Larry Hughes Basketball Academy Select team coached by Eric Bain (my grandson plays for him) is my anchor to these ratings at 100 (now ranked 249).  I have tried to list teams by state but some may be associated with the tournament state that they played in.
