2021 / 16U St. Louis Area Boys AAU Basketball rankings

Still not a lot to report out there on the top teams, but a shout out to JT Elite from Sicklerville, NJ who edged a very good Cape Elite 16U opponent (#29 this week) in the final 71-70 in the Reebok Battle of the Brands 16U division.

In the Backcourt Classic,  Capital City Teamwork (#31) won the 10th/11th division with a seven point victory over a good Mid-MO Rebels team (#40).

The weekend will bring out some heavy hitters at the Threat Hoops Spring Tune-Up.  Schedule posts at 10pm Wednesday night so it will be interesting to see what shakes out over the weekend in their first action.

Get out and see a game.  The athleticism and overall abilities of these AAU teams is actually better than the high school level because of the select nature of players.  Any high school coach would drool over having the talent on one team that any of these top ten teams displays.   They are fun to watch.
