2021 / 16U Missouri and Illinois Area Boys AAU Pre-Season Basketball rankings

Here's a look at the top 200 Missouri and Illinois 16U boys AAU basketball teams heading into the spring and summer tournament schedule.  I have included some Kansas teams like Kansas Pray and Play and others that are around the KC area that sort of blend in with the Kansas City area and are hard to differentiate as Missouri or Kansas.

The Illinois Wolves, of course, top not only this list but the national rankings.  Burress Hustle, KC Run GMC, Meanstreets, Kansas Pray & Play, Mokan are all good outside teams.  The best locals, as usual are Bradley Beal (or *St. Louis Eagles, as they sometimes register as), Gateway and Larry Hughes, although LHBA may suffer with the loss of Sam Thompson, their 6'9" center, who hurt his right shoulder in the class 5 semi-final playing for Francis Howell in their loss to CBC.  The SW Illinois Jets, Ramey Jets and Team Ramey are right there too.

It should shape up to be an interesting summer.....
