UAA RISE 16U team rankings - Who ends up on top in July?
I have been focused on the top tournaments including the elite UAA 16U league and had rated but not posted the UAA Rise lower division of teams that hope to graduate to the UAA top league at some point. There are some notable teams including Missouri's own Marcus Denmon Elite, Showtime Ballers and Texas Impact 4:13 and Arsenal California to name a few. The league's top teams match up well with Recruit Look and a couple of other tournament series.
I actually have Denmon rated about 116 in the Recruit Look League but they are playing much better in the UAA Rise division and are undefeated in the Anatomix division, just ahead of Corey Graham, Grand Rapids Storm and Texas Impact.
While in the Drive division, Team Factory is 8-0 and MATTS Mustangs, 7-1, there is a log-jam with Arsenal, Martin Brothers, Showtime Ballers, MAC and Utah Mountain Stars at 6-2. The Drive division seems to have slightly better record with more games coming up in mid-July in Atlanta.
Some of the ratings differences has to do with bracketing and difficulty of schedule so it will be interesting to see how Denmon does against the rest of the competition in the upcoming July schedule.
