Still not a lot to report out there on the top teams, but a shout out to JT Elite from Sicklerville, NJ who edged a very good Cape Elite 16U opponent (#29 this week) in the final 71-70 in the Reebok Battle of the Brands 16U division. In the Backcourt Classic, Capital City Teamwork (#31) won the 10th/11th division with a seven point victory over a good Mid-MO Rebels team (#40). The weekend will bring out some heavy hitters at the Threat Hoops Spring Tune-Up. Schedule posts at 10pm Wednesday night so it will be interesting to see what shakes out over the weekend in their first action. Get out and see a game. The athleticism and overall abilities of these AAU teams is actually better than the high school level because of the select nature of players.
